    Matco Screwdriver Identification

If you are specifically looking for Witte, take a look at the discontinued napa professional sets on ebay (seller sellular216) I did notice they don't have the wrench bolsters or cool coloring though...

    Powr-kraft thoughts?

I have a bit of the Powr-Kraft stuff. Some I like (beside the wright sockets) are pliers and adjustable wrenches made by Diamond Calk, and the Barcalloy combo wrenches

Thanks Stuart, While the part numbers are MW specific, the date code on drive tools appears to be the same as wright used? wright introduced soft handles in 58 catalog according to AA, and these are a 56, so maybe I am way off in assuming they are a date code at all?

An odd ball 3/8 set I just bought & don't know the history of. The ratchet, 3" extension and most sockets are Wrights, the 5" extension and some sockets are not, or at least do not appear to be, the print is lighter and less italicized, but they do not have the knurling of an indestro? I doubt...

Resurrecting and old post to say thanks to Kyrbz for posting the catalog pages. The power tool sections are available all over the net, but I hadn't been able to find any of the Powr-kraft hand tool portion. A meager few of mine: 17 piece 1/2" drive (wright) the drive tools are date coded...

    Hammer Storage in Tool Box

Ok, bumping back up with an idea I tried today. Found a large sheet of 2" high density closed cell foam. cut it to size by heating a piece of sheet metal with a torch, then slicing with it. Then I put holes in it by heating a piece of 1-3/4" tube and pushing through, just like butter. I put 8...

Craftsman Premium Heavy Duty Floor Cabinet $300

Quite a bit smaller 30x15x66 vs 36x20x75 and 2 adjustable shelves vs 4 on the big one. Lots of difference in actual usable storage.

Your box looks really good. I found when spraying rustoleum, that using a Valspar hardener in it will make it a harder more durable finish. http://www.amazon.com/Valspar-4625-Enamel-Hardener-oz/dp/B000LNY1MY/ref=pd_ys_sf_s_rp_a1_3_p?ie=UTF8&refRID=1EAXZDRDR4B09J5W2TAK

Sears and Craftsman Want Your Feedback!!!

Get Quality U.S. made tools! I was a pretty loyal Sears customer for over 20 years and bought a LOT of tools, I also hate going shopping enough that when I was there we would buy my family clothes, appliances, and other things needed right there at Sears. Now as you should have gathered your...
