    The Concrete Underground

I'm just sitting here, wildly mashing the refresh button... I don't post very often but I've followed this build since I first joined the forum, just thought I'd chime in that it's nice to see you're back!

On a ridge, on a mountain, attached to a house.

Ahh, the tail lights threw me off, they looked like the older A-body style. I still have an '85 Grand Prix that I parked probably 10 years ago. Plan to eventually strip it down, cage it and use it as a drag car, someday...

Nice garage and nice clean Grand prix. A-body I'm guessing? What's your plans for it?

    Opinions on miter saw stands...

I picked up a very similar Delta stand from Acme a few years ago and I must say, it was worth every penny! I don't have an abundance of room, so I like how it can fold down then be stood up out of the way. I built my saw horses to the same height as the saw deck for when I need to support...

    Little Garage on the Prairie

I did a high compression big bore kit, cam, ported and polished heads and clutches. What you're seeing on the front is the rad relocate and snorkels. Rad relocate keeps it from filling with mud as easily and overheating. I'm located in southern Saskatchewan.

    Little Garage on the Prairie

Last winter involved two projects, one out of necessity, one for fun. We had record amounts of snowfall last year and of course my tractor decides to blow the rear crank seal and give my clutch a good oil bath... Turns out, I had just enough room Once that was done, I decided to tear apart...

    Little Garage on the Prairie

I've been doing a project or 2 during the winter since I completed the garage. The first winter was the repaint and cleanup of my VFR (project "Lipstick on a Pig"). I've posted some pictures of it elsewhere on the forum, but never the completed product. The before The after

    Little Garage on the Prairie

Back to the garage part... Due to the sheer ridiculous cost of stuccoing in my area and finding it impossible to get anyone to come out and even quote the job, I chose to do siding on the 3 least visible sides of the garage and stucco only the front face and gable end that met the house. The...

    Little Garage on the Prairie

It's been a good long while since I updated this, funny how life can get in the way of things. I've spent the last 18 months busting my *** to finish my house reno and complete the garage. Got it all finished up and on the market just in time for the local housing market to completely die! Just...

    Show off your Bike Build

You sir, are correct! It's a 1990 VFR. And thanks, it's been a surprising amount of work for what doesn't seem like that big of a change.

3 guesses what this bike was originally and the first 2 don't count Picked up the bike on the cheap looking like this Cleaned it up and rode it like this for the summer Then started stripping it down and repainting it this spring Built a custom rear subframe Now nearing completion

    Little Garage on the Prairie

Thanks for checking it out. Now it's true, it did come together fairly quickly, but it's also a much smaller project! That and I basically had no social life all winter. We have a baby on the way so there's been a lot of pressure to get it done as quickly as possible so that the rest of the...

    Little Garage on the Prairie

Thanks for the suggestions. The shelves are probably going to be staying open, I know that dust is going to be an issue in here, but everything that goes up there will be inside large enclosed rubber maid tubs. The junk that is up there right now is just temporary until I get around to moving it...
