I bought these to replace a set of SK sockets that have not held up. And got a free pocket screwdriver.

So I went to the solid waste drop off site to dump an old freezer. Got into a conversation with the guy working at the gate. He asks if I have a shop. I said yes. He asked me if I need a hose reel. I said yes. So he said there was a heavy hose reel someone dropped off and he hid it behind the...

    Dissapointed in Husqvarna

We are a small town and believe the only Stihl dealer is the equipment rental place. TSC sells Husky but I don't think they are a servicing dealer. I can work on my own equipment if I can get oem parts.

    Dissapointed in Husqvarna

I bought this purely because it was in stock at TSC and the Stihl dealer was closed. It works for what I need it to do, but I shouldn't have to fix equipment with 1/2 hour of run time.

    Dissapointed in Husqvarna

Still on the first tank of mix gas. Brand new backpack leaf blower, 570BTS. Used it last weekend no issues. Started to use it this evening and it didn't sound right. Clack clack clack almost like a rod bearing. Debating on taking it back, I decided to take a look. Two bolts holding the blower...

Just for fun, if you are of a certain age- do you still have any of your first tools?

I'm 52 years old. My very first tools I ever owned were a prize from middle school industrial arts class. I had best grade and best project. I won a red Craftsman tool box, a set of Craftsman screwdrivers and a wood handled Craftsman hammer. I still have and use the tool box. The rest is...

    New Craftsman screwdrivers (Taiwan)

I just remember how horrible Craftsman screwdrivers were in the 70's and 80's. I now preach the gospel of Wera.

    My Uncle's Duro Drill Press

Thank you all again. I'm not sure the last time this drill ran. As you can see in the first pic, I received it with no power cord or switch/switch cover. I wonder if these were pulled off because it wouldn't start and he was trying to fix it? How long ago, who knows. My cousin recalls his dad...

    My Uncle's Duro Drill Press

Turned right on. Sweet! I'm sure Uncle Barney is smiling. I took a video which is too large to upload, but here is the finished product. I dipped the handle to rid it of rust staining. Hit it with 000 steel wool.
