Garage Update: I've neglected this page. I'll try to get everyone up to date. Here is a video showing a progress update on one of the last big upgrades I made to this garage.

There was a tube in each rebuild kit. Plenty in one tube to lubricate all three ratchets. I simply ripped off the end and squoze out a small amount on the moving parts. I put on the cover plate an turned the ratchet a few revolutions and here is what the underside looks like.

I didn't even notice that. That is pretty cool. I wonder where the Gearwrench rebuild kits are made? I think they are all Taiwan and China. What makes a Lexus better than Toyota, Acura-Honda, Lincoln-Ford? I can't definitively say what makes the Matco better than the Gearwrench. Yes...

I've heard rumors that this modification can be performed. I picked up a GearWrench 81206F 3 Pc. Full Polish 84 Tooth Ratchet Set for $65 and 88 tooth rebuild kits from Matco for under $15/each. So far I have completed the 3/8" ratchet build. I am working on a YouTube video for the install...

We used this Rust-Oleum Appliance Gloss White Epoxy Spray Paint on a dryer. It held up really good. Hardest part was getting a good smooth application. Portions that received over-spray turned a little fuzzy.

Wow! That turned out excellent. Quite the upgrade.
