I know this is kinda old, but i have some info id like to share to those who are searching the forum or google for info. I had a 84 tooth locking flex head that i loved. sadly i broke it, it was a case of extreme abuse, that would have broken any 1/4 tool BTW I broke it not using it as a...
BTW thanks for the info about compressors and responding to my Post. You guys always seem very willing to help even if someone is not on here very often
I feel dumb because I didn't think to check tightness of pully. Thought it was a bigger issue than it was. I'm not overly impressed with the unit. It does what need it to do. Maybe it will do better with pulley tightened. Run time to get to pressure seemed to vary. I'm surprised it worked as...
Update before I tuted my own horn thought I'd investigate more. From the factory probably in China somewhere the motor pulley was not tightened on the shaft. So I pretended like I was a Chinese factory quality guy and I tightened my own bolts down and confirmed tightness of all seen fasteners...
So fellow tool lovers I've got a problem. Normally I get my info from searching old threads but this is something I can't seem to figure out myself.
I have a new, like 4 month old 30 gal oil lubed compressor from Minard's. Yes I know not the best but figured it would cut the mustard. It's done...
My air line is also 1/2 but is 50 ft long so I'll shorten it to 25 ft or less don't need 50 ft but that's the shortest I could get the Diablo hose in 1/2. You said a tee and no more ball valves. Guess I can shut off all air flow to regulator by turning it to 0?
Thank you in advance for any help and effort given. I've been a member for a while but had forgotten my password and finally took time to figure out how to reset it.
So the other day I was trying to remove a Honda crank pully bolt and couldn't with my impact. I had everything hard lined...
I work at a Honda plant and I've not seen one, somewhere down the line I'm sure there is but in six years of working there can't say I've ever seen one used. My Camry drain plug uses one I believe. I also drive a Honda as well comes with the territory.
I saw a set of three sockets on eBay they were metric he wants total 13 bucks for the three. The 14 is the only one I need out of the three if anyone wants to trade for the other sizes I'm lacking I'd be game. The sizes that come in the three are 14 15 and 16. Doubt that's logical because who...
Recently ive been given an armstrong eliminator set from my father. The set is missing three sockets 14mm, 9/16 and a 3/4. The set is sentimental because my dad came down with cancer not to long ago and they have been in his shop for around 20 years.
Is like to complete the set and I know that...
The reason why so many great businesses started in a garage is because there's a lot of peace and quiet inside a garage or at least the ability to think. And if you're lucky enough to have a bunch of spiders in there your wife and kids might not go in it. when my son gets bigger and he starts...

How to answer your question of What kinds of things will I be working on, I would like to start out working on Automotive plastic pieces like bumpers. This might this is something I've been thinking about but I might not be doing it soon depending on...
