Looks like the area under the stalls is concrete if so cleaning up the debris and scrubbing down with some hot water and light bleach solution and rinsing with pressure washer should get rid of the smell and disenfect at the same time.

I would say some tread brite aluminium but for a kids room i would say use some half round glued and screwed on the edges to trim it up.

Another vote for the echo or the weed eater. I've had both and both have been a good machine. The only problem i've had with the weed eater is after a couple of years the carbs seem to come out of adjustment. definite you want the power of a gas trimmer.

I say she deserves a fresh coat of paint. It's like a good woman don't replace her just put thing back where they're supposed to be spackle the outside and make her look good.
