My Snap On driver suggested this box. The top is good to set stuff on. It's durable but the box is tall so I wouldn't want to use it as a bench. For what I need it's perfect. You have to remove the cover completely to get into the box, which is kind of pain but it is what it is. I see this box...
That's what I earn my keep with.. Avionics doesn't require a lot of big tools. Mainly your normal size hand tools. We use 1/4" drive sockets/ratchets... I use my screwdrivers, pliers, and pen the most [emoji6]

Thank you. I normally work out of an extra large ammo bag, so my box stores my specialized equipment. Stuff I need but normally don't use. Unlike most A&P mechanics, we don't work out of one particular hangar. We have 7 hangars and a big ramp. I go where the work is. We maintain almost 100 jets...
