ahhhhh I see under closer scritiny of the instant replay system...my stupidity has come clean and i have noticed the pics I confused were taken from the center of garage looking back at the 2 different ends...
I concede.... my error.........still a damn nice garage either way!
Awesome progress so far...
But can I ask a dumb question?
How come you sprung for the expense of pre-built trusses and then went and changed them after they were installed?
Would they not have made them in any format for the same price?
Or did you all of a sudden realize the extra space...
Yeah, that's why I mentioned in previous post I did about using it on unprotected aluminum.
If the aluminum is clearcoated such as wheels etc... it will be fine..but unprotected aluminum it leaves it all chalky...almost like it etched the aluminum.
It seems like only windex in a gallon jug...
I know it's a money issue, but it's never too late to put a steel beam in place of those sistered up woods....
Definately changable...save you empties!
Yes it requires a water rinse...but it's amazing how well this stuff works.
I usually spray it with a windex style spray bottle full strength... if deposits are really heavy I then spray it with air hose with a concentrated nozzle tip... then rinse with water. If I'm doing a really thick...
The best degreaser I know of and swear by is... "Castrol Super Clean"...available just about anywhere.
It's about 25 x's stronger then "Simple Green"

This stuff full strength will remove undercoating from a cars underside..... I have...
I'd be careful of the fill from the gas station...especially if it came from around where the inground tanks were.
Probably considered hazardous fill.... hate to see you go through all that trouble and work to only be in a mess with the EPA
If you run lines to the outside of building through the wall for the air intake and the exhaust part of your compressor....it will IMMENSELY reduce the noise inside the garage and house, all that's left for major noise then is vibration, and you have already taken care of that by lagging it to...
