I don't like them either, and it's hard to believe they are approved for use in RVs. I found three of them that are used to transition from the 14 ga SO type cable to NMC behind the slide trim behind the theater seating.
Thanks for the number. I talked to the tech support yesterday and he only had a part number for a thermal cut-out for the heater. He had info for the whole harness. I told him I can get that. I was hoping to replace a $6 component rather than $60 harnesses.
I talked to him about the...
There is no sign of over heating in the wiring on either fan. The factory connections were quality crimps. The fan showed no signs of lack of lubrication, the slow down was definitely low voltage. When the first fan did the slow down, I did noticed the lights coming on dim with them.

I Had a bath fan motor go real slow about 4 years ago. When I bypassed a small component in the wiring harness, it ran fine. The fan in the other bathroom recently did the exact same thing. I think the component is a thermal overload device. I want to replace them, but am not sure what it is or...
I have had that exact light on my patio ceiling for years. The birds can't get in it like the old one. But I live in a desert, so very little humidity.

:dunno:
I found this inside of a section of FMC when I remodeled an addition (1970s) to the back of my 1959 house. An inspection would not have caught this. This is just someone being friggin CHEAP.

I thought it looked familiar. Just like my little Craftsman. I like the size and keep it in my "go" tool bag. I really like my Dewalt 20V Max Li-ion for the bigger tasks.
