Sink Anchor Holes/Slots Missing in Granite Countertop

Sorry this is not the garage, but our kitchen, but hoping to get some ideas. Our sink has started dropping, after looking noticed it was just "glued" in, and there are no anchor holes drilled in the underside of the granite to install the proper mounting fasteners. Wife wants to replace the...

Why would someone peel off the snap on serial number sticker off a tool chest

Could just be it did not adhere well, as mine (KRL) on the back is partially peeling, I keep pressing it back on. Not sure I'd rush to a negative reason....BTW, I never checked the S/N, or cared to when I bought it used 5 years ago, did not even enter my mind. Hands down best box I've ever...

    Where does Tekton rank?

I upgraded all of my craftsman (wrenches/sockets/extensions/pliers/screwdrivers etc to SK, and ratchets to Snapon. I did buy some Gearwrench floppy box head ratcheting wrenches.

Rivnut Tool - Is the Astro 1442 Still The Hotness?

I have the Astro 1442, but I need to do some M3/M4 in thin metal (Defender Wings), been looking at the 1443B. Would the 1450/53 be a better fit? I actual like the Plier design of the 1443B for the smaller nuts, as it seems to be a bit more "controllable" for the smaller nuts?? tim

Dewalt: Hog Ring or Detent Anvil

I wonder if the 923 (3/8) can replace all the functionality of the 894 (1/2), and use 3/8>>1/2 adapters with the 923 when a 1/2 socket is required? Nevermind, just looked at the spec's, DCF923B is 300/450, DCF894B is 330/600 (Max Fastening Torque/Max Breakaway Torque)

Dewalt: Hog Ring or Detent Anvil

take a look at the new DCF923B, looks impressive for size.

Dewalt: Hog Ring or Detent Anvil

So I am keeping the Detent Anvil (DCF894B) and sending the Hog Ring back. Saved over $30 buying the Detent over the Hog Ring, and for around $20-30 I can pick up a Hog Ring Anvil to switch if it becomes a problem. 99% will be lug nuts with this one, so I'll just keep a short 2-3" extension on it...

Dewalt: Hog Ring or Detent Anvil

Appears to be just personal preference, so the only way to tell is to just try both, and decide what works/feels best for me.

Dewalt: Hog Ring or Detent Anvil

So I ordered the 899B,HB, and the 894B,HB so that I can compare them all, and return what I don't like.

Dewalt: Hog Ring or Detent Anvil

Well, being that I don't work in a shop, and can easily take the (extra) time to release the Detent, I'll prob go with that. 99% will be removing/installing (carefully before using a torque wrench for final torque) lug nuts, with the occasional stuck suspension/axel bolt/nut. In all cases, I...

Dewalt: Hog Ring or Detent Anvil

What makes it hard switching sockets with the Detent? All of my Ratchets and extensions are Detent (actually more of a ball, so maybe that's the difference)...Is the Detent different on a Impact?
