The city initially wanted me to get an oil/water separator, but based on cost they allowed me to run the drain into a catch basin filled with stone and then half way up in the basin it has corrugated pipe that runs out to the back of the property. Still ironing out issues with the drain...
time for paint.
The back wall has 12' blocks, so there were some blocks exposed...used up some white tile from a home project to cap them off.
Also got furnace installed. Reznor 75,000BTU unit. So nice to have some heat in the garage now. Perfect timing as its getting cold out now.
The city I live in had a limit in SQFT....I wanted a 35' bay for a 30' boat.....this is the reason why I had to not just make a simple rectangle. It would have made my life a lot easier to build a rectangle. Everything was more complicated.
On to the inside:
Got all the electrical done. Installed 7 high-bay fixtures. 220V for Air Compressor and welder. Insulation arrived
Also got the rough plumbing done for the gas line.
Garage doors are 10' tall....so I can potentially fit a boat later in life.
