I didn't look at the date. There is so much good information in it. Is it better to start a new thread rather than tie into existing contributions? If you think it is best to start a new one I will do that when I get to the photo stage.

How many inches less than 12 of headroom are your doors? Will low overhead track lower it 4 inches? I have a steel arch rib garage. There is plenty of headroom for the pulleys etc. but the adjacent arch 'valley' is 4 inches lower. How many inches will 'Quick Turn brackets' gain me? :bounce:

What actual ideas/possibilities do you have regarding "customizing and cutting track"? I am building a steel arch style garage and I have enough headroom for a 16' x 10' door at the high point of the arch but the valleys of the arches are 7 1/2" lower than that. It looks like the door might...
