Good day Gentlemen! I got around to putting the top on my bench. Went with 2x10 for now. First project on the new bench was repairing the two broken Makita drills on top. Let me tell you this sure beats working off an ATV rack :) next order of business is finding a vise.

HAHAHAHA, Thanks, bdbecker. I unfortunately don’t have the needed floor space for both a bench and welding table. So I was wanting it to be a do-all bench. need to add the receiver tubing behind each leg, for vise and bench grinder. As well as looking to add two of the tool box add-on cabinets...

Hi Reddittj. I think that the trailer hitch, pulled down it that cylinder liner would work well if you could keep the ball centred in the cylinder. Would you be able to use the threads and nut on the hitch, and screw it down to flare the hole?

Thank you for the warm welcome, the house is 1350sq two storey and the garage is 25x28 plus a 9x9 bump out the back wall. We just finished the basement before winter and are waiting until spring to start up again. Jon
