Re: Have any of you went solar?
If I understand correctly, everytime electric rates go up, he will save more. Are you betting that electric power won't be significantly more expensive in 10 or 20 years time?
I saw a sh1t load of these at the local Home Depot the other day wrap up for black friday. I took a look. The construction is way below the HF boxes. The metal is much thinner and the tops are not rolled. HF box is a much better choice.
I think store credit sounds fair. They have a lot of stuff and I have had only good experiences with them and their return policies.
Other option is to try a different Lowes.
One good thing about buying from Harbor Freight is that if there is something wrong with the box, you can take it back with little to no hassle. Committing to purchase one straight off the boat from china seems a bit risky.
I have used the scoring cutters before and they do work pretty good for cerimic tile as long as the wheel is new/replaced often.
The ones I used were not real high quality I guess, because I did have issues with getting square cuts at times.
I am not sure how they would work on...
Have used the **** out of a HF sliding table saw that I bought about 5 years ago. Still works great. I would estimate I have done over 1200 sf of tile/granite/marble/travertine in that time.
It is a huge unwieldy saw.
I think they have changed the saw since then though and I could never get...
