I'm old enough to see how well linseed oil protected parts of my moms house for over 40 years. I use it on everything wood outside. I actually sprayed a log cabin with it until there was smoke. I literally watched a trash can of linseed oil soaked rags spontaneously combust once. Be aware.

I got the quiet Harbor Fright compressor. Combined with an Amazon garden cart and a reel. Love it so far. But I use battery tools, so? I basically just use it for tires and blowing things off.

I had this discussion while bidding out my doors. Nobody had a problem with the rails close to the ceiling. With high ceilings, I didn't want 90 degree turns and my rails sticking out into nothing. This pic is before 1/2 sheetrock.
