I have been unable to locate a boot to purchase, which also helped to grow my expectations that one may be included. Yes I did buy the tool only. If anyone finds the boot available to purchase please share a link.

2861 vs 2763 I am only disappointed that the 2861-20 did not come with the protective boot that was "speculated" to be included with the gun.
