Help me convince my (commercial) landlord to allow me to run a repair shop

Thanks for all of the great suggestions! Should have clarified a few things. This is NOT a zoning/permitting issue. I am in the correct zoning for auto repair. County does not require permits. Landlord's office is literally next door, about 30 ft from my building. Before going to him with...

Help me convince my (commercial) landlord to allow me to run a repair shop

Lots of smart folks on here with a heck of a lot more experience than me so I figured I would ask. To give some quick background info, I currently run a small car lot on a piece of land I rent. It's about 1.5 acres and has a 1500 sqft building on it. The landlord lets me do small repairs around...

    Thoughts on cordless impact guns

Get a craftsman c3 19.2v impact and don't even bother searching or anything else. I think I was $175 all in including tax and the 2 year warranty. I use this thing professionally and it is an incredible tool for the money. Stop your search now and go ahead and pick one up.

Anybody heard of Auto Lift (brand) car lifts?

Checking out some affordable lifts and keep seeing auto lift brand. Stats are about same as better known brands, but prices are significantly lower. Only looking for something to use for cars and light trucks <6500lbs. Any input would be great. Thanks!

So I need to know how to sell this? Should I break it up or sell as a bundle? I already have 3 complete torx and hex sets and am also slightly OCD about having complete sets in my own collection. Model #s as seen in picture, top row left to right then bottom row left to right...

Seriously almost feel guilty! More than $200 and less than $300. The best tool deal I have ever got by a long shot. Was an older couple selling before they moved out of state. They said a friend of their son's left this there many years ago. I saw the ad on CL after it had been up for 15 mins...

Hey all, Scored this entire setup on CL for a price that I am almost embarrassed to mention. I will be selling some of this stuff if I have duplicates or will never use them. There are some incomplete sets and would like to finish them. Will post comments/questions under pictures. Box with...

Jump packs. Wich one do you choose?

Get a lithium ion pack and don't even think about getting an old school pack. I use the pack in the link below and it is amazing (800 amps). Its about the size of two smart phones stacked on top of each other. I use it at car auctions and have jumped 5 stone dead cars in a row without needing...
