I have a Parker 249 that is missing the collar. Does anybody have any advice on sourcing a replacement? I see that ebay sometimes has a few, but they command fairly big money and I am not sure how to size one. I am assuming there were many different collars over the years.

I used Rubbermaid Fasttrack for this and it works great. However, I may upgrade it to French cleats or slatwall at some point because I think it would help me store stuff more densely.
For anyone looking for Wilde deals, I would suggest that you check out the gasket scrapers. I think that they used to make the Craftsman ones, but Craftsman never made the pull scraper. These are great when you need more than a putty knife but less than a chisel for a job...

The way I’ve seen it done is to add furring strips—maybe 1.5 inches deep on either side of the rafters touching the roof. Then attach the foam board to those. That guarantees you the air gap going from the ridge to the soffit.
Why not focus on insulating the roof line? I've seen people do that with rigid foam and leaving an air gap to the ridge. You could also spray foam the entire thing.
