Here is the final tool. Ended up using a 3/4 8-point Proto, 1/2 drive Impact Socket. Cut it with a ginder, and filed the rest by hand. It took a few hours to fine tune it to make sure it was all square. It cost $10 + the time. I had the time and would rather use the $40 savings to upgrade...
