I thought about going down the PID route to precisely control kettle temp, I even had a cart with about $100 worth of parts in it. But then it dawned on me...I don't really care about the exact temperature as long as it makes good popcorn! It took a couple of batches to figure out where to set...

Had the same problem with the same Great Northern 8oz popcorn machine - smokin' hot kettle with insta-pop chewy popcorn. While it was nice being able to make a full batch of popcorn in 60 seconds I prefer my popcorn to be crunchy so went down the rabbit hole of how to fix this thing... I...
