Found a deal on craigslist? - List Here!

Honestly I don't know enough about drill presses to say what it was, I just know the older ones are sought after on here so I post them when I see them. The one listed for 30 was a bench top model, the style with a cast iron head and exposed belt pulleys. The same guy had some interesting...

Found a deal on craigslist? - List Here!

Maybe they sold it, here is an older looking floor model (same guy) price seems high at $175 for something that's Sat outside enough to get rusty, but I have no idea on value http://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/tls/4995672043.html

    Forstner Bit for Drilling Aluminum?

Another vote for a uni / step bit. The HF 3 piece set has surprised me. Recently used one too cut several 7/16" holes in 3/16 steel plate. I expected the bit to only live through 3 or 4 holes, but it did the entire job and still going strong.

    Homeowner compressor ideas

I believe I've seen some positive info on here about the HF oil lubed compressors. They likely have the same parts as the other "budget" machines.

    Homeowner compressor ideas

Screw compressors are awesome. Tons of air, quiet enough to stand next to and have a conversation. Unfortunately I don't have that much disposable income. I think the two we use at work were like $15k each. In the real world, there is no way I would buy an oil free compressor for stationary...

    Best Compressor you Have Owned

I've got a 3HP Sears 220v "Paint Sprayer" compressor. 20 or 30 gallon, not sure which. Picked it up on CL for $60 from on older guy who had bought it new. While it won't do what the big 60 gallon uprights can do, it surprises me how much it CAN do. I run an impact and die grinders primarily and...

    The Harbor Freight PASS/FAIL Thread...

Go with motor oil. From the reviews on HF site, it won't prime with actual bar oil. My experience backed that up.

Compressor leaks - where else to look

Not sure this is your problem, but I agree with Charles. I'd hard mount the regulator to something, and run a line from the tank output.

    The Harbor Freight PASS/FAIL Thread...

Picked up an electric pole saw for around $60 plus tax. Like many, it took some running without the bar to get the oiler to prime, but then it was fine. Used it to cut some decent sized limbs off a cherry tree and it did great. Definitely a PASS.
