I still cannot get the drawer removed, but I was able to shim the left hand side of the drawer with a cut up rubber gasket to get it to open and close. It still lines up horribly though. Anyone removed a drawer from a General Steel Desk? Model is GF 1440 I believe.

@agoins I am going to try and take a drawer out to align it tonight, I will share my results. If anyone has any suggestions, I am open to them!

I have not taken it apart yet, just looked up the sides and in the back with a flashlight. I wanted some advice to go on before removing the drawer. And on that note, any advice on removing the drawer itself? I saw no obvious catches.

I love these desks, but they have gotten very expensive! I have a steel desk with a drawer that won't close all the way. I opened the drawer, dropped what I was doing to put in it, bent down to pick it up, and put too much weight on the open drawer. I heard a pop, and now the drawer stays open...
