^^^ Excellent news. My replacement columns are on their way too. **Alert**: I suspect they are not going to want my original uprights, so I would give them to anyone interested...lmk. The textured paint would need to be addressed on the inside, but with that done, a MaxJax user would gain...

Max Jax owners...if you don't have one you NEED ONE

As another said, this is already in spec so you should be good. Assumes it’s 3ksi concrete.

    Wej-it anchors for the MaxJax

^^^ Dannmar runs this calculation based on only the three outer anchors and with both arms fully extended (48") straight away from the column (never going to happen in real usage). Under this scenario there is considerable safety margin according to their math, again, based on only three...

    Wej-it anchors for the MaxJax

Breathing some new life into this one... Received my M6 this week and can confirm it came with real deal Wejit hardware, not poor imitation. Referencing published Wejit performance data, each anchor is rated for 2220 lbs allowable tension in 3ksi concrete, translating to 11,100 lbs per upright...

^^^ Higher load capacity would help depending on the vehicle involved, but the 6k is enough for majority of passenger cars. The niche serviced by MaxJax/M6 and C7000 is portability. If one has height and room for a permanent install, that opens doors to many other options.

    MaxJax

Skip the MaxJax and go with the M6, which is a newer version. It's has auto locking step feature and is ALI certified (MaxJax isn't). I looked into the C7000, but I got the impression the company backing the unit runs on a shoe string budget. Also, the lift doesn't have ALI certification and...

    Truck stuck on lift

So far Dannmar service seems good. Not any resistance to getting me new columns with gloss paint. Waiting for shipping/delivery info. The M6 lift is pretty robust in design and looks to be a quality product, aside from the binding issue cause by matte paint. Looking forward to getting a good...

    Truck stuck on lift

Yeah, I came to that decision and fired off an email to them this morning about swapping the columns for those with correct gloss paint. Waiting for their reply. I will say the matte finish is real nice, so disappointed it can't be used.

^^^ Thanks for reply. So they just sent new upright columns and he kept all the other parts?

    Truck stuck on lift

I got my M6 today and it has the matte paint finish, so going to tackle the sanding to avoid any chance of having my car stuck. Any new developments or tricks? Like the idea of using a grinder with 6” wheel, but any other words of wisdom?
