Re: what did you do in your garage today?
I opened the shop! I opened the shop! I opened the shop!!
Sorry, loooong winter...
Time to cut, drill, sand, and stain. Among other things.
Don't rub it in! I got all the way to the check out and then the server figured it out that I was from over the border. Sorry sir, no sale...
Anyway - Packers in 2012 - another SB...
Welcome!
As a new guy here, I too am looking for ideas and inspiration to help complete the very simple & modest garage just built. But good luck with that "hopefully not get into much $$$..." I am waaaay past the budget numbers, and lots to go still! ;)
Hi Rod,
Welcome to one of the coolest sites anywhere.
I almost bought a 964 this week (the search continues...) so don't be shy about showing some pics of the beauty.
Cheers,
Thom.
Re: Build Thread: "The Shop" Industrial Design / Architecture / Loft Apartments
Not sure what I like more...the free couch, the build as a whole or that sick S6?
Killer project - keep the pics rolling.
Welcome Justin!
I too just found this site and as a recent returnee, built a garage late in 2011, with all the fun finishing it this spring.
One suggestion: pics and more pics. Someone else said it never happened without the pics to prove.
Another Canuck on board...
I really enjoyed the photos of the build. I've been up in your neighbourhood before - it's a beautiful part of Wild Rose country.
But I doubt it could be any better than the view through the 'attic' or observatory you built into the garage. Stunning concept and I...
...to the exterior - which looks waaaaay better with the stucco ...and lack of snow.
More to come as I complete the interior build of cabinets, tool areas, lumber storage and a place for a 964 continues to evolve.
Re: Rick's Double Garage in Calgary, CAN
Nice effort!
If I didn't have these power tools in the way, mine might (might..) look similar...
Ok. Maybe not.
