Considering there is no floor there yet, I will just continue the floor all the way through and worry about shelving once I actually need them. Thanks for ideas though!

Strictly storage and a room the boys can go have a smoke in the winter time. I will probably end up running a 2x4s on the inside of the vertical truss and another one further back. Pop in a cross brace (to form an I) and just lay OSB overtop to create a bench/shelf.

I need some ideas for creating storage space on sides of my attic between the trusses. I was thinking of making a shelf about 1-2' off the floor. Does anyone have pics of what they have done or any other ideas? Thanks
