A bit harsh, my suggestion would be far less likely to failure either of the structure or project. Also allows to keep building in a workable state if weather turns or other life disasters happen.

Wouldn't it make more sense to support upper structure, cut away lower walls a section at a time pour stem wall in sections and then raise the roof?
