My kid corrected me, I probably go it around 1978 or 79, and it was old then, came from scrap behind loading docks in Tampa, Wasn't hard to fix, and been a good tool for me for decades and I've abused it regularly. Anvil section is not hardened so Asian is probably correct.

Restored this vise with my Dad about 30 yrs ago, been using it ever sense, anybody have any idea who made it, and what vintage it's from? I suspect it's from '50s but not sure. Recovered from industrial scrap
