    Welding Table and Vise Stand

Pictures can be deceiving at times and I think that's happened in this case. That is not just a set of legs welded to the bottom of the 1/2 inch plate your looking at, that is a 2x2x3/16 frame with 3/16 outer frame supports welded at each corner that are recessed back a bit. Really in that pic...

    Welding Table and Vise Stand

The locking wheel casters are rated at 250# each as far as the vice/table goes I'm not to worried about what it can handle with what I'm using it far, define what you mean as large/heavy and maybe I can give you a better answer. :) Tony

Building a welding cart, looking for ideas & guidance

The straps should work just fine, but if when you get it all painted up the way you want you could always get some chrome plated chains for the bottle holder. Welding class project ideas

How about portable heat. I was given this Vanguard heater that was set up for propane. It's 16K btu and can be rolled around all over the shop where needed. I use a 20lb and a 30lb tank on it. I just used some material I had laying around the shop and welded it up. :bounce: Tony

    Intro and 30x40

Steve: The material that was laid down is actually crushed concrete, first I had to add about 4 loads of dirt to help level things up a bit but still give it good drainage. The crushed concrete was cheaper than say flexbase material. Only problem I found with it was it did have some trash in...

    Intro and 30x40

Hey guys new to the forum, looks to be a pretty cool site, lots of info and nice pics. I added a few pics of my shop, built in 2008. It's a 30x40x14 with a 15x20 upper loft. Still sorting things out in there and trying to add stuff when the money is available. These are some older pics not...
