Well, after much thought and consideration, I'll put off painting the garage floor for a while. The ground around here is simply too wet. We've had the wettest winter and spring in decades. I may wait for a dry year and do it at the peak of summer. For now, it will be rubber mats around the work...
Well hopefully it won't be a factor. I looked up annual average temps for the area and we're supposed be be in the 68˚ to 74˚ range when we get the keys.
I absolutely have to do it before we move in, otherwise, it won't happen at all. I started a thread in the flooring section of the forum.

Average temps for May to June is 68˚ to 74˚ with an average of 2" rain per month for that time period.
Thanks for that info! Here's a picture of what my garage looked like about a week after it was poured. I'm going back to the house tomorrow and will get an updated picture.

I just may know him. We're a small community and at the very least, we will know some of the same people. What squadron was he with? I was with HMH-466 from 1992 until around 1997. Then I was with HMH-769. I enlisted in December of 1991 and got out in February of 2001.
