My 36 x 30 garage starts being built next week. I am having the builder frame a hole for ac unit. My question: What size unit does it need to be to cool this shop effectively? I don't want to make a mistake and under cool...but also not over cool and waste money. However, id rather be over...

Yeah, I imagine every possible question has been asked by now.

What kind of lights should be used? How should they be installed so that my door won't block the light when raised all the way up? Fluorescent i would suppose is best?

I was going to say...I knew GM has power folding mirrors and power extending mirrors but not certain about power folding TOW mirrors... I am 43 and I've sold new GM vehicles since 1986. Lots of changes I have seen in the automotive industry just in my lifetime.

My son and I were just sitting here discussing the comments made on this thread. He is 17 and this shop is so important to him. He dreams about it night and day until it starts and doesn't want to make a mistake on it..as I don't either. Now i am beginning to believe the big door small door...
