    Air Impacts are DEAD

There are places where any spark is danger to the working environment. This is where air tool can not be replaced by electric one. Another area is where there are dripping oil and mess, I can see electric impact dying in minutes. Sorry if this is repeat of an earlier post.

    Table Saw

I just went through this myself. The answer depends on what you're trying to do with your saw. Like it was said, no furniture making with the plastic body table saws; you just don't have the accuracy and repeatability. And if you are looking to rip 4x8 sheet or the length of 2x4 stud into two...

    Stahlwille deep offset wrench set.

I received my set from Germany. My first made in Germany wrench set and I'm stoked:) Everything looked good, casting and rough machining looked, well, rough. But the wrench are light and the center label section is crisp. I have yet to put it to test though:)

    Stahlwille deep offset wrench set.

FWIW, I also purchased EZ Red wrench connectors: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007QV5WG8/?tag=atomicindus08-20 This with the Stahlwille double box ends, I should be able to get at most fasteners with enough reach and torque. We will see.

Filters at AC return vs Air Handler

I was comparing the pressure curves vs horsepower curve also and noted the non-linear relationship.

Filters at AC return vs Air Handler

This comment caught my eyes as it didn't make sense to me. So I looked it up. Seems you are partly right as there are two inflection points on squirrel cage fan performance curves. See here:

Cool new product idea - Check this out!

There are cars where there is no place to jack up and place jack stand side by side(and body side flange is not a jacking point), this invention would be perfect for it. Having said that, more robust elbow design would be reassuring as mentioned earlier.

I think we have the final say on this topic here ^^^. Thank you. I can't add any more than what he said.

CFL vs T8/T5 Tubes and Fixtures

My installation is more modest(4x105 in a 3 car garage) and it's excellent. What's not mentioned is the lack of glare with the 105's. I know if there were equivalent LED with similar amount of lumens my eyes would not want to look above horizon line. CRI is great(105 were made for photo...

    Brushless

Not sure if OP questions were answered so I'll take a crack at it. Brushless is more efficient than brushed due to elimination of the friction of dragging brush across rotating commutators. More powerful the motor, higher the brush pressure, more frictional loss. As stated, it takes more...

1/2" impact for home use....earthquack or mac

I would not hesitate on the Earthquake. I have the 1/2 in impact and it gets bolts out that IR 231 can not. Be sure to use 3/8 fittings to feed it with good air flow.
