Quality set of mini drill bits?

For micro drills, I have used Guhring - made in Germany.

Anyone done a DIY wheel alignment?

For Christmas, my 16 Y.O. son got a 2 ½” lift kit front and rear for his 2023 Ram 1500 Hemi. He installed the kit (Icon out of Riverside, CA.) with just a little assistance from me. The kit had front and rear springs, front struts, rear shocks, and aluminum billet front upper control arms. The...

6" x 48" combination belt and 12" disc sander options?

I also have an older Delta 6X48 belt and 12 inch disc sander. It has a 2 hp motor, 240 volt. It is a heavy duty great tool that I really enjoy using. A Garage Journal member shared a link to a business that got it from a school shop and re-sold it. Sorry I can't find the link... On a...

Recommend an inexpensive 3D printer please.

I have the Bambu P1S. It has been a great tool. Set up was very easy. The printer is fast and relatively easy to use - once you figure out the slicer aspect. Accuracy is nothing short of amazing. I have made 36" diameter rings by snaping (and gluing) together 8 segments. Less than 1/8"...

    Small engine compression tester adapter

Old Wiz, I had the same issue - and could not find an adapter that matched. I took the old spark plug, broke the ceramic, and center electrode out. I brazed a fitting to the steel spark plug shell that adapted to hose if the compression tester. Worked great. It took less time to make the...

    Two Post Lift Suggestions

To all that responded, Thank you! I am looking for a lift that can accommodate taller people. I did not want to limit the possibilities by saying it had to be ALI. Lots of lifts out there in the $2500 range. For the right / taller lift, I would consider up to $5000. Is there a metric lift...

I need a mini belt sander, recommendations please

ToplessHO, I have bought the 3M Cubitron II on Amazon. The $30 box is for 10 belts. $3 per belt, not $30 each. Even at $3 each, they are still a little pricy, but they perform well for my use.

I need a mini belt sander, recommendations please

The best luck I have had for belts (1/2" X 18") are the 3M cubitron II. Most of the other belts I have tried separate at the seam too quickly. I like the 60 grit and 80 grit. I have 36 grit belts, but they seem a little too coarse for my applications.

    Quality Micrometer Brands?

Milkovich, I believe you are off by a factor of 10 by sharing your Chicago vernier calipers read to .0001". I "suspect" you mean .001" (one thousandths, not one tenth of a thousandth). jaymar (OP) If you a looking for a good quality measuring tool, I suggest Mitutoyo. Some of the smoothest...

    Milwaukee M18 dual battery

DerekV, all, I am looking to increase run time - not change the voltage (thank you for the clarification). The look of the dual battery leaf blower, but keep 18 volts, batteries in parallel, not series. I will share that when my kids were little, I did put Milwaukee 18 volt 12.0 amp batteries...

    Milwaukee M18 dual battery

Does anyone know of a source for an adapter to add a second battery to a M18 tool? I was hoping to find an adapter that plugs into the standard battery slot, and splits off, that two batteries could plug into. Something similar to the new M18 leaf blower that has two battery slots side by side...
