    No need, it works fine now. That life long warranty is for hand tools. Warranty on compressor is one year according to manual.

    Turned the adjustment screw and it worked fine. Put switch cover back on and didn't shut off. Re-attached cover, now it works like it should have. Once again, many thanks for the video link. :D

    Three weeks in a hot garage and one grand later, I expect it to last a bit longer. Hopefully somebody can add some information that's a bit more helpful than the above attempt at humor. I'm an easy going guy but I take pride in my work and my things.

    Beautiful. Looks like I have the Furnas type switch. Actually, MasterTool sells a Furnas for $40 to replace the Craftsman switch that Sears sells for $80plus. Going to turn that adjustment screw counterclockwise and see what happens. Many thanks for that video. :thumbup:
