I saw that as well, but the HD title says 120V. Wonder if that is just their lack of 240v info, or if the Chinese cord really only does have 120v rated insulation.

If that gauge is indoors, I'd put a valve between it and the pipe. Then just open the valve when you want to see the pressure. Keep valve closed otherwise. Just my indoor practice of such. A gauge can let go at any point.

Do the pump-down procedure, vac the line set(s) for a while to remove any moisture once re-installed, and it should be fine.
