i've searched without success for a 4-point hollow shaft nutdriver, for a 1/8 inch square nut. Even a 1/4-drive deep socket would work. Not been able to find any 4-point sockets in smaller sizes at all. Anybody know of a manufacturer or source?

I've had a couple of these since the 1970s, I like 'em, find I reach for them first - ahead of my (old) Snappy, S-K, Proto ratchets. Are those pictured 1/2" and 3/8"? Or, are they 3/8" and 1/4"?

The Xcelite rolls were universally used in back in the olden days when electronics equipment and systems had shafts and gears, lots of mechanisms. They included long reach extensions, hex, spline (Bristol), various handle styles and every size of driver tip. May still be of use, don't know if...

I've got the exact same set that the OP pictures, have used it for over forty years. It will get into tight spots where nothing else will work. I've yet to find a lower profile and smaller diameter ratchet/allen/bit combo. Simple and effective.

The Sunex thin wall have worked well for me for 10 years or so, but only get annual use swapping the winter tires back and forth on three or four vehicles.

The Echo straight-shaft (bigbox stores) has been been absolutely bullet proof for me after several years of abuse, it's a good price vs stihl, husky, it always starts and runs well. The bump head has been reliable and is not too hard to load. I would buy it again.
