Thanks, I did install it myself. I took my time, it probably took about 5 hours. I think the majority of the time was moving all my stuff off the floor and setting up...getting the tools out, setting up my saw and table, etc. it also a took a little time to get the appropriate method to trim...

Got to ask, where did you find the NewAir G73 for $170? Also, did you consider any others? The best I've seen is $233 on Amazon.

Something to think about...if you spill enough of anything, it will leak through the seams of all of these tiles. And, you won't be able to see where the liquid is to clean it up. Which then means you'll have to pull up even more tiles to make sure you cleaned it all up. Bottom line is, there...

I do once and a while. Haven't been recently as I have been kind of heads down on fixing up the garage. I'm a big fan of Adams Car Care. They make quality products. I know you're a friend of Adam. That's very cool. Would love to attend one of his seminars, but he doesn't come to the DC metro...

Finally. Here are few pics. Two before the makeover and the rest after the paint, shelving, hooks and of course the floor. :D I REALLY like the results with RibTrax. Two of my neighbors came over and gawked for a while. Thought I should have a block party on it. What a great idea! :thumbup:

Thought you perhaps read my other post. I finally decided on RibTrax. Actually, just finished the install. Going to try and post pics either late today or by tomorrow. I really like the way it came out. Very pleased! Just what I wanted. In fact, came out better than what I had anticipated...

Based on my limited experience with my project, I don't think you will need it with RibTrax if you are covering your entire floor. If you are only doing a parking pad, then it would probably be a good idea to put something down to prevent the pad from slipping.

LOL, I almost bought Carbon Black. The red and black combination will look great! Going to finish mine today, can't wait. Will be posting new and better pics hopefully some time tomorrow.

It's a tough choice. Both products are great and both have pros and cons. As you know, I bought RibTrax. I made my final decision based on the following: I felt RibTrax was more solid, I liked the overall style, I felt it was easier to keep looking good, water off your car flows immediately...

Yes I did get my tiles yesterday and will be installing over the upcoming weekend. BTW, Justin is outstanding to work with as I ordered through him. I will be posting photos early next week, assuming I get it done this weekend. In the ribbed tile category, it's pretty hard to beat RibTrax...
