The Mac Tool Anti-Zap is the way to go. Easy to use and ensures no eletrical surge damage to ECUs or other sensitive electrical equipment. I have one and used it a lot without 1 electrical problem.

Yes, please post progress! What color did you go with, and are you flaking and adding a clear coat? I am getting ready to re-do my floor, and am also considering Epoxy-Coat, so any thoughts or input would be appreciated.

What kind of sealer would you use on the tile? Also, what kind of grout would one use for an application like this?
