What company made this metal cutting bandsaw?

Thanks to all that replied. You two guys are right about the saw I was referring to. Thanks for helping me figure out the brand name. I'd like to buy one of those.

What company made this metal cutting bandsaw?

There was a bandsaw sitting in a machine shop that I saw one time and can't remember the brand name. It was definitely an American made machine. As best I can recall, the upper section rode on a track or tracks and used weights to control the speed or pressure applied to the blade when cutting...

Old Porter Cable Guild saw----Model A6

I've had this old saw with the original metal case stored in my shop. Are these saws worth anything? There isn't much plastic to be found here, which I can't say the same about new tools. Porter Cable Guild Saw Model A6

    WTB Boice Crane woodworking tools

I have a Boice Crane model 3500 table saw and need the knob for the rip fence. Might be interested in purchasing some of the optional accessories too. Looking for other Boice Crane tools. Let me know what you have and price if you are selling. Thanks

    Source for caged nuts?

I've used MSC industrial supply. I know they have them, but not sure about the size you're needing.

    Tractors

I use several tractors that all vary in size and horsepower. Of course just being a trac tor nut is one reason I own so many, but also I grow organic crops mostly and have to maintain several properties. Sometimes I need a large machine to lift heavy trees or move dirt, gravel, wood chips, and...

I always have to make my own axles

I use the collar shafts too. There was one application where split collar shafts were of better design and use, but it has been several years and I don't recall why I needed the split collars. All the other projects I just use the plain solid collars.

SP3 Penetrating Oil--Has anyone on here tried it?

I am planning to test it too as well as many others. There are some other not so well known brands I had hoped to test, but some companies informed me that certain ones are no longer available. My house and shop look and smell like a chemical factory.:yikes:

SP3 Penetrating Oil--Has anyone on here tried it?

Yes, I plan to test it side by side with the leading brands. I'm already trying that mixture in a seperate test for just the home brew concoctions.

SP3 Penetrating Oil--Has anyone on here tried it?

Well, one thing I was referring to or thinking of is that some things in need of penetrating oil may require more than 30 minutes to sit before attempting to unscrew or unstick. There are some products that I have tested and they evaporated in 30 minutes or less. This was at temperatures below...

SP3 Penetrating Oil--Has anyone on here tried it?

I'm testing penetrating oils and was curious about SP3 and how it has worked for people who have tried it. My tests will take a year or more to complete. So far, I have achieved some interesting results when making comparisons. Some penetrating oils evaporate so quick and don't leave behind...

    Sprayway brand penetrating oil

I will definitely keep folks informed about my tests. Of course, I have always liked Kroil, but want to continue learning about other products that may not be as well known. There's a product called S'OK! and is made in Texas. It has a pleasant smell and leaves some form of coating behind...

    Sprayway brand penetrating oil

I'm currently testing several brands of penetrating oils. Many of the brands I had never heard of until I began my tests and comparisons. Actually, I could mention several brands in just this one thread, but wanted to thank and compliment Sprayway's HOIL pentrating oil and rust preventative...
