Where can I find the good MEK paint stripper?

I am in Canada so this may not help those in the US. I found this product at my local NAPA affiliate. This is locally made in my town and although expensive works extremely well. Other NAPA locations near me had a different brand and have similar chemical makeup.

Duty on tools from the US to Canada?

The 13% represents the HST and varies across the country. Duty may apply above that amount. This LINK might help - power tools are under outdoor living! To be certain I would call first as it comes down to classification and country of origin.

Installing Windows- New Construction- Vinyl vs Aluminum -Update- NailFin for FOAM

I spent a few years working in the window manufacturing industry and would suggest that for the size i.e. 60"x64" & 60"x18" aluminium is the way to go. In my opinion a stronger frame and picture window installation is very straightforward – install the frame and then the glass (at least that’s...

    Help with framing quote!

I am west of Toronto - Milton. Framing for a 24 x 14 workshop cost $5,600 last November. Basic 2 x 6 framing, site cut roof rafters, roof sheathing and install structural plywood siding - 5 man days to frame. That was the best of 3 prices!

    Rockwell Cabinet

In the process of moving into my new workshop I found this inside an old moving box. It likely made numerous moves and most recently went into the shed and was forgotten. I worked at the Rockwell/Beaver factory in Guelph Ontario as a machine setup/operator sometime in the late 70’s and this may...
