A new playset for the kids

What a great project. When we moved to our present house, one of the first things I did was build a giant, two-story swing set/fort near the creek. It was in a flood plain ( 🤫 ) so I sank the 4x6's 2 1/2' feet deep with 100 lbs. of concrete ea. The cross beam for the swings is 12' high and is...

    Car condo owners, in here

My car friends and I have talked about this. I even considered a business venture with my real estate partners to open a high end car storage/ brewery. We could make the numbers work but one partner vetoed it because he doesn't like beer :(. What does a car condo go for? What do you get?

    Free Standing Carport

Is that anything like crusher run? That is what I used, and the moisture was really bad for the vehicles I had in there.

    Free Standing Carport

They are pretty sturdy. If I had to do it again, I'd pour a slab first. You can do it with the carport up but it's a bit tricky. Oh and if you don't want a slab, you may be dealing with ground moisture leading to rust and corrosion.

Alright leaf people, what's the best way

I had the same experience with my DR Brush Mower. Great customer service back in the day but when I contacted them recently for a part they told me my model was no longer supported so it ***** to be you. Very disappointing.

Does that shred the leaves as well? I may have to upgrade at some point.

Alright leaf people, what's the best way

When the kids were little, we would spend a couple of weekends raking leaves, piling them in a 5x8 trailer with 2' sides and then "unpiling" them at the end of the property. Now that they are all grown and gone, I use my Husky lawn tractor with a bagger attachment. Leaves on the patios or...

Could I use Brake Fluid as a paint stripper?

Not a good idea. If it gets into seams, it will reappear at some point. Ask me how I know...

Best plywood floor protection for parking zero turn

I used Valspar Porch, Floor and Patio paint. It lasts a long time and is easy to clean.

    The Abrasive Blasting Resource Thread

I'm using Shop Vac with a cyclone separator, and the darn thing trips the breaker after about 2 minutes of bead blasting. The filter is clean. Not sure what could be causing this. You can definitely hear the vacuum work harder once I start blasting.

    Mower

I have a "grey market" Yanmar 2000 BD tractor that is cheap, reliable and built to last. It has a PTO and 4WD but no loader. I keep 5 acres but use a lawn tractor on the lawn part of it.

That engine needs to come out. With a TW in the pan you may have a damaged crank and block. If it were mine, I would start looking for a used engine to drop in.

    Painting Garage

I painted mine in gloss white. Easy to clean, very bright, mold doesn't grow and spiders hate it.

Garage Beer Drinkers! Cover your beers!

I drink beer out of a chilled pint glass, not out of the can like some kind of heathen :ROFLMAO:
