Nothing really in particular. It works well for taking burrs off or shaping metal parts. With a few hard hand cranks it turns fast and keeps going on its own for 10 seconds or so. I haven't tried putting different wheels on it.

I'm going to hijack my own thread here to say "WOW". I just looked through most of the pics on your build thread and it's now one of my favorites on GJ. Thanks for the welcome.

Yea, I thought that was a pretty high price back then. Must be the deluxe model. It has a light and adjustable shelves. And it seems that THIS refrigerator might still get cold in 2079 but I don't think my 4 year old GE in the kitchen will make it to the new year!

Here's my newest addition. I've been looking for a good vintage beer fridge for awhile. I found this on Craigslist for $70 at an estate sale nearby. A good friend helped me pick it up on Friday. It's a 1948 Philco Advanced Design. Runs super quiet, keeps cold and is really clean with original...

Thanks, I think I'll leave it alone since it's old and I like the look as is. I like some of the things you've done in your garage. I've gotten some good ideas from the pictures in your thread. I'd trade my Craftsman chest for a Coke machine like you have any day! I especially like your Art...

I know. I've read many of your posts over on Team Camaro. Good to see I'm not alone over here. Since this is GJ and not TC, here's a pic of my car in the garage before I put it on jack stands to rebuild the front end. Almost done with that and then it's new tires and brakes and I...

Only one empty barrel that I found cheap. I put it on a 55 gal. drum dolly to make it easy to move. It rolls out of the way and the 3' x 3' Mobil Filling Station table top hangs on the wall when not in use. You can see it hanging in the other picture. I made the top from an old laminated...

Thanks. Here's a close up of the General grinder. The grinder, Craftsman tool chest, and the home made "PESTered" shelves were left in the house by the previous owners along with some old hand tools and the kitchen cabinets.

    My Quasi-industrial gearhead man cave

My first post here. This is my 20 x 20 2 car-2 door garage that I've cleaned up and made room to work on my '67 Camaro that I resurrected last year. The shop still needs a few more things and of course more tools/cabinets. I'm looking for a vintage fridge to replace the little dorm fridge I...
