Agreed, the oldest stamp I’ve seen is 1955. Horse would you mind posting one bajillion pictures of your red cap stack?

I wish I had your restraint Shelby! Cornbinder was right about resale value but I collect these as a hobby.....or as the doctors are calling it, a “dangerous obsession”
Whatever the hell that means......[emoji23]
I’m right there with you Brian! I found this link in a GJ post from 2011, Was Lumidor the west coast craftsman manufacturer until Waterloo “acquired” them?

Nice score Jell, should be a stamp behind the badge inside the drawer.
Unless these are pre AMDCo.

Shelby I think it’s MBC. The fold over drawer pulls have an extra “tab” of metal underneath which is not there on any Snap On I’ve seen. Top pic is Snap on.
Ran across this old post trying to figure out the same thing. Who made heritage boxes before AMDCo? This picture I found looks pretty suspicious. [emoji23]
Good news: found a 3 drawer mid-box
Bad news: it’s not gray/red
Worse news: it’s missing it’s drop front.
Has anyone encountered this?
Any chance I can harvest a drop front from a tall roller with a small “cabinet space” on the bottom?
I couldn’t place the make of these boxes by the picture but the price was right so I went to meet the seller anyway. Was very happy to see these doors drop down!
