    Cordless drill opinions??

I have the ryobi 1+ line and have served me well. they see alot of use and abuse in my house and garage and have held up well with the exception of a battery that stopped working after a little fall off the roof last month. What i really like about them is that you can pick up a wide range of...

Canadian Tire weirdness re: MC Maximum wrenches

That's the two 1". The wrenches are identical other than the branding. The only difference I can see is that the platting is slightly different. The Maximum seems to me a little shinier.

COST OF PVC DECKING vs P.T.

I can't tell you the product because I dont actually know. When I was doing decks I had three customers pay me to rip out their plastic that was less than two years old and replace it with pressure treated. It was all the same product put in at the same time, and looked okay to me but they all...

    Before Mastercraft Became Mastercrap!

mastercraft hand tools no issues. The only mastercraft power tool I have is their electric 1/2 impact. Only gets used a few times a year but for the $100 for it and the impact socket set its hard to beat. Then again maybe I got a good one. been abusing the hell out of my $30 Jobmate Hammer...

    Canadian Tire DEALS

just another point about the in store pickup disscussion. If you dont have time/CanTire is too far away and your wife is going to be driving buy, its way easier to convince her to pick up stuff this way than to send her with a list....plus less mistakes.

    Tool Breakage Frequency

I remember every hand tool I ever broke. wrenched professionally for 3 years. 1 Cheap wrench, two hands on it and one side of the jaws flew off and put a gouge in my head. the whole two sets (Sae/Metric) went in the trash. One 1/2 ratchet, about 3rd day at work brand new, couldn't move a...

    Favorite Screwdrivers Part 2

I personally like Fuller. Maybe that's just some Canadian pride on my part. Can't say I've used many tool truck brands but dad did have a nice snap on years ago.
