So, wanted to give an update on my snapon restoration project. When I last posted last I couldn't remove the drawer glide from the box, I was luckley enough to be able to remive the drawers. Once the drawers are removed...

No I made a tool from a piece of scrap metal, sniped it down so it slides in on the track and popped out the drawers. I the took the same fabricated tool slid in on the inside of the track but can't get it to release.

Ok so the top two drawers need new - Offset Runners. I have removed the drawers and can not get the runners out, any advise would be welcomed be welcomed.

I am replacing an Kolbolt 26", both the Dayton and Snapon (45 + years old) feel sturdy - cant wait to finish them. Did Waterloo also build the Conwell box? Looks exactly the same as the one at the start of the thread.
VINTAGE SNAP ON TOOL BOX LARGE (9 DRAWER), I believe the Model # KRA-59A. However I do not see the stamp.
I also just picked up a Dayton box with a roller. This Box looks identical to cornwell boxes of the error – anyone know if I am correct?
