    DeWalt 10" Sliding Miter (DW717) $350 shipped

did you try the vendor I posted a few posts ago? http://www.industrialtoolandsupply.com/dewalt-5140117-90-worklight-kit/ Just wondering, because I am thinking about ordering another light from them and if they don't have it anymore, I might be SOL.

    DeWalt 10" Sliding Miter (DW717) $350 shipped

I will just add, that I own a trim carpentry business (25+ years) and wouldn't be without a laser or shadow in this case. I trimmed for many years without one, and then many years with one (makita LS1013L). I bought this saw specifically for the "laser". Either way works, but once you get...

Nope, unfortunately probably not going to do much better than the $55 or so shipped.

    DeWalt 10" Sliding Miter (DW717) $350 shipped

it is legit, that is where I ordered mine (as did others). The retail packaged light kit is no longer made, so this is ordering the parts as replacement parts. They will just come in a brown cardboard box.

    Menard's Deals Permathread!

Except for the fact that menards corporate policies make walmart look like a church. I have much less guilt shopping at Walmart than Menards. (both are rare)

We need battery adapters for cordless tools.

I can speak for this, I am a contractor and have no less than probably 20-25 different dewalt 18v tools. It would be pretty dumb and pretty expensive to replace all of them, so I have been hanging on by just buying new 18v batteries occasionally. And when I have needed new tools, I started...

    Best 110V/120V Vertical Compressor

Wow, everyone here wound way too tight. What exactly did I say? I simply agreed with the previous poster (who brought up quincy), that they make a nice compressor and that I had a couple. That's it. I also mentioned in another post that my compressor was a small basic one as quincy goes, so...

    Best 110V/120V Vertical Compressor

Is that the pressure lubed ones? I didn't pay for this one, so I didn't have much choice.

    Best 110V/120V Vertical Compressor

I am not an electrician, but you should have no problem adding a 220 if you want, it would take the last 2 spots though. Personally i would probably upgrade that box so it had a few more spots available. Or I guess you could do that if you ever needed more breakers. I know you can get double...

    Best 110V/120V Vertical Compressor

That's possible, mine is at least 30 years old (is actually purple not blue) and works great. A buddy used to sell them and he said the smaller ones are re badged, don't know if that includes something like a 20 gallon one. The 80 gallon one I posted he said he had to special order since it...

Not much to add really, but I been a carpenter for about 25 years, with about 15 specializing in finish carpentry. I guess one thing that struck me was the statement about setting up in the middle and working. When I am on a job each one of my guys has his own setup. So there are days when...
