Bringing this from the dead. I just finished a custom thermostat hookup to my G73. I used the information posted in this thread (thanks everyone) and went the route of a 7-day thermostat, a 120v-to-24vAC transformer, a single pole contactor, some 10-3 wire as well. Here is how I hooked it up...
