I don't mean to hijack OP's thread, but I think we can both learn something I know I am. Mac Mc I thought incorrectly the pilot valve was the unloader, the pilot valve is the part that visibly seeps, bubbles when I spray it. So if I understand correctly for start/stop operation I should leave...
The unloader on my compressor seeps some and after reading I think my tank check valve is leaking. The little poppet valve on the left may still be the culprit that's the part that seeps, it is plumbed into the tank I have no idea how it works.
