***SUCCESS!*** I posted this is one of the FB groups and got a hit. It is German! The manufacturer, Ahrem's, from their Good Line range of tools. Thank you for your considerations to my puzzle.

    Show us your handplanes

Stanley's? Oh, I got some. Only a blade from the no.1 though. There's a spot reserved for that when it turns up. 😊 And I recently picked up the cute little 101 which hasn't made it to the wall yet (mostly because they're all packed away for now)

    What’s your holy grail tool?

Monarch 10EE tool room lathe. I don't need one, can't afford one, don't have the space for one or the skills to justify one. But I want one. I'd love to do a resto-mod. Maybe, one day.

Oh yes, sir! That does narrow the search, somewhat 😊 My mother was a librarian and I very much appreciate the linguistics lesson

    What’s your holy grail tool?

My first thought was a no.1 (for $10) to complete the set. Then I remembered the Monarch 10EE machinists lathe. 🤷 I don't have the space or the money or the skills to justify one, but I want one. Well done on your score. It gives me hope as I continue to trawl through endless classified ads...

Wood cabinets for tool, parts or nuts and bolts or even your socks. please show them

Had to put my workshop into storage for a couple of years, so I threw these together out of scrap I had left before I lost the shop. The Stanley chest is 3 tiers deep and just houses my planes. It's my first attempt at and inlay and plywood does not lend itself to the art. 😂

I have a "Perfect Handle" screwdriver that I'm beginning a resto-mod on. It's badly pitted and one scale was missing from the handle, so a restoration is out of the question. I'm into the rabbit hole of identification though and need some help. I have a forge mark under the remaining scale...
