    Vessel Screwdrivers

Ive ordered from this guy several times with no problems through his website and through ebay... themechanicstoolbox.com Prices might be higher than some, but the free shipping worked out with my orders (mostly singles). I don't even remember where I bought my megadora sets.

    Tools of Japan

You might want to ask him to define "Made in Japan" also. I'm not disputing his claim, but I'm also not taking his word for it. The NS line of spinner handles and RH ratchets are all stamped "JAPAN". The CS wrenches look to be the same way. Bllackhawk has a ratchet that is identical in every...

Most of my stuff from Frank has come in flat rate USPS boxes. He just has access to the USPS. No discounts to my knowledge. The yahoo shipping calculator he uses is buggy to begin with (not just his store). If you've ordered from Ash at German-Hand-Tools, you've probably run into the similar...

    Tools of Japan

I was making reference to the full online pdf catalog only. The Japanese supplements are usually up to date.

Ko-ken released the English version of the August 2015 catalog this week. I'm currently attempting to download (slow). Nice to have the update... There are several new articles on the Japanese website that are not available in English yet (1/2" z-eal etc)...

    Anyone here from Tooltopia?

My point was that the only reason I ever ordered from them the first time was because of the reviews on this forum. I would have reacted to your situation in much the same way. Maybe I should have done as you suggested, but I was kind of surprised how quickly my stuff arrived. It wasn't intended...

    Anyone here from Tooltopia?

Thanks for this thread. I hadn't ordered from them in a while. I was going to order some impact sets from Amazon and this thread made me check Tooltopia. Not dismissing your issue at all, but all sorts of things can happen with an order depending on stock status, payment method, shipping method...

    Tools from the old world

You seem to have resisted the influence of this board about as well as I have... It's scary how similar our boxes mirror each other aside from the hex wrenches. Great stuff!

    Looking for an EDC knife

Doug Ritter Mini Griptilian. Better blade design, flat grind, and m390 steel. I have several of these after owning almost all the others already mentioned. It's personal preference though... The ZTs are very nice too, just a little more knife than I need. I believe the Ritter Grip is still...

    Tools from the old world

Hope the blue will be sold in the states. I know Gedore can't (or agreed not to) market or sell their polished line with blue plastic grips here because of action taken by Channellock. Gedore was attempting to establish itself here though. The situation with Knipex is very different. Expensive...
