That looks awesome. Throw some LED bulbs on the exterior so those incredibly massive moths I remember at my cousin's in Platteville aren't as attracted.

My backdoor neighbor's house burnt down when I was a kid because a spark came out of their fireplace (had a chain cover) and found it's way to the cedar ceiling. This happened super close to you, over here in Tigard. Just something to think about.

This looks quite a bit like the house my sister lived at when she did undergrad at DU. I remember it was two houses south of a place called Jerusalem's across the street from campus...on Evans or something. My memory could be fuzzy but could it be the same?

Man, is this ever my dream project. Looks like the fire station isn't active anymore, that's got to be nice for siren noise.

I'm using my first post on this forum (as a long time lurker) to see if this was you. I really hope it is. Seeing those three together would've made me faint.
